William "Worth" Franklin Adair

William Franklin Adair, 83, of Converse, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2026, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice House. 

William was born on December 16, 1942, in High Shoals, Rutherford County, North Carolina, to the late Howard and Nellie Adair. 

William was a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and was of the Baptist faith. He was married to his beloved wife, Betty Lee Adair, for 60 years. 

He is survived by his daughter, Larraine Mann; his grandchildren, Katelyn Mann (Jacob and Zeke Dawkins) and Josh Mann (Ellie and Elsie). 

He will be deeply missed by his wife, daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 1:00pm to 2:30pm in the Franklin Fellowship Hall at Calvary Baptist Church in Cowpens, South Carolina.
