Wanda Cuthbertson

Wanda Cuthbertson, age 61, of Mooresboro went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after winning her long battle with cancer. She is at rest and in the presence of God for eternity.

Wanda was born Saturday, October 17, 1964 in McDowell County, NC to the late Marion Eaton and Ruby Flynn Eaton. She worked for various manufacturing companies and above all was a dedicated homemaker. Wanda enjoyed the outdoors and was known to have a “green thumb.” She could grow about anything from vegetables to flowers. Wanda’s greatest passion in life was taking care of and spending time with her family. She loved to laugh and bring joy to any occasion.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Deb Dedmond and brothers, Junior and Ronnie Eaton.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Neil Cuthbertson of Mooresboro, Nikki Scott (John Burnette) of Woodruff, SC and Ned Cuthbertson (Patti) of Rutherfordton; sister, Sherry Wilkie (Jack) of Lawndale, NC and grandchildren, Tanner Scott and Scout Cuthbertson.

A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Wanda’s life will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 pm on Monday, September 28th at Harrelson Funeral Home.
