Virginia Dobbins

Virginia Guffey Dobbins, age 87, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Hospice House.
Virginia was born June 21, 1923 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Roy Guffey and Viola King Guffey. She worked as a payroll clerk for Stonecutter Mill for several years, as a secretary for Charles Flack Insurance Agency and for Bill Dobbins Used Cars. She was a longtime member of Kistler's Chapel United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Dobbins; one brother, Roy C. Guffey and one sister, Stella Guffey.
Survivors include a sister, Margaret Guffey Cole of Spindale; one nephew and three nieces.
