Tula W. Greene

     Tula W. Greene, age 88, of Mooresboro passed away Thursday, May 7, 2026 at Fair Haven of Bostic.

     Tula was born Saturay, October 16, 1937 in Rutherford County to the late Roy Wilkie and Amy Whisnant Wilkie. Tula worked at Cone Mills Cliffside plant for over twenty four years. She loved collecting dolls, taking care of her pets, and playing with her great grandchildren. Tula was a member of Prospect Baptist Church. A dear lady who will be missed by all that knew her.

     In addition to her parents Tula was preceded in death by her husband of fifty eight years, Johnny R. Greene; daughter, Christy Greene; grandson Johnathon Dylan Greene, three brothers, Paul Wilkie, Lloyd Wilkie, and Roy Wilkie Jr.

     Those left to cherish her memory include a son Roger Greene (Kim) of Cliffside, a sister, Rosa Lee Cobb of Gaffney SC; three grandchildren, Justin Greene (Anna), Jake Greene (Courtney), Tyler Stacey (Micaela); and three great grandchildren, Eli Greene, Caden Greene, Colton Stacey.

     The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 pm on Monday, May 11th at Harrelson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Shane Belue and Reverend Tim Wilkie officiating. Interment will follow in the Cliffside Cemetery The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
