Tonya Moore

Tonya Varela Moore, age 48, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.
Tonya was born on September 18, 1962 in Durham County, NC to the late Tony Robert Varela and Barbara Huskey. She was a homemaker and loved animals. She was a member of Floyd's Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother, survivors include two sons, Jamie Laughter of Polk County and Shane Fowler of Rutherfordton; one daughter, Brittany Butler and husband, Perry of Bostic; one sister, LaRae Varela Ford of Forest City; two brothers, Rory Varela of Mexico and Tony Bob Varela and wife, Cathy of California; four grandchildren, Makinzie Butler, Zachary Isaiah Butler, Haleigh Butler and Jamie Laughter, Jr. She is also survived by two special nephews, Rob Nelon and Seth Ford.
