Thomas Stafford

Thomas 'Joe' Stafford, age 47, of Henson Road, Forest City, NC, died Friday, April 22, 2011 at his residence.
Joe was born on May 20, 1963 in Polk County, NC to the late Thomas Stafford and Nellie Cox Stafford. He worked in lawn maintenance and for A & L Lumber Company for several years. He enjoyed gardening and lawn work.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Walt Cox, Jr., Wilburn Stafford and one sister, Lillian Stafford.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Joline Brown of Henrietta; five brothers, Dave Cox, Sr. and wife, Violet of Bostic, Leroy Cox and wife, Mary of Forest City, Jerry Cox of Mooresboro, Ray Stafford and wife, Cindy of Morganton, Marvin Stafford and wife, Jackie of Forest City; one sister, Carrie Mae Dale of Morganton and by many nieces and nephews.
