Sylvia Toms

Sylvia Horton Toms, age 63, of Henrietta, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.

Sylvia was born November 10, 1956 in Germany to the late George William Horton and Margot Nischwitz Horton. She worked at Spartanburg Regional Medical as a Liscenced Massage Therapist and was loved and respected by her patients and co-workers. She enjoyed going deep sea fishing and especially loved being with her family and friends. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Wayne Toms and a sister, Barbara Horton.

Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Leslie Scruggs, and Sara Lynn Toms both of Henrietta; three granddaughters, Katelynd P. Conner, Hannah C. Morgan, Emily M. Morgan and a great-granddaughter, December S. King. She is also survived by a sister, Margaret Jenkins of Bartow, Florida and several nieces and nephews.

A private gathering will be held at the family residence to honor Sylvia’s life.
