Susie Roberts

Susie Jenkins Roberts, age 66, of Bridges Drive, Forest City, NC, died Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
Born December 24, 1951 in Rutherford County, she is the daughter of Hazel Splawn Jenkins who resides in Forest City and the late Howard Jenkins. She was a graduate of East Rutherford High School, class of 1970 and a past member of Crestview Baptist Church. Susie was a homemaker who loved family time and trips to the beach. She also enjoyed reading, playing video games, watching movies and was also an excellent seamstress.
In addition to her mother, those left to cherish her memory include her husband of forty-eight years, Frank Roberts; one daughter, Megan Roberts and husband, Jesse Eason of Concord, NC; sister, Arlene Nolen and husband, Wayne of Sandy Mush and several nieces and nephews.
A gathering of remembrance will be held from 6:30 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Harrelson Funeral Home.
