Steven Thomas Brooks

Steven Thomas Brooks, age 45, of Cowpens, was taken away from his loved ones too soon on Sunday, December 13, 2020 due to a tragic accident.

Steven was born April 15, 1975 in South Chicago Heights, Illinois to the late Steve Brooks and Sheryl Donnelly Brooks. He worked as a crew member for McDonalds for many years. Steven was an avid World of Warcraft Gamer and a journeyman astronomer who enjoyed studying the stars and planets.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Ronnie Murray and great niece, Anna Brooks.

Those left to cherish his memory include his two sisters, Mary Brooks (Robert Moore) and Rosalie Brooks Murray all of Mooresboro; daughter, Jessica Brooks Grubbs; granddaughter, Alice Grubbs; three nephews, Wes Leverett (Olivia), Joshua Jackson, Dominick Jackson; two nieces, Katelynn Brooks (Zach) and Aaliyah Jackson; great nephews, Hayden Riddle, Conner Riddle, Brian Brooks and great niece, Aubree Bradford.

A gathering of family and friends will be conducted from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Harrelson Funeral Home with Reverend Dale Dubois leading a time of remembrance.
