Shirley Wright

Shirley Ann Wright, age 65, of, Arlington Street, Forest City, died Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
Born February 3, 1953 in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Roy Wright and Annie Jenkins Wright. She enjoyed watching old sitcoms, working word puzzles and NASCAR. Shirley attended Rutherford Life Care for many years and took developmental classes at Isothermal Community College.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Sophia Bartlett of Spindale and one brother, Douglas Wright of Rutherfordton; two nephews, Joshua Bartlett and Jon Wright; two nieces, Virginia Bartlett and Heather Horne. She is also survived by numerous extended family members in Texas and North Carolina.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Ernie Cole officiating. There will be a gathering of family and friends one hour prior the service time at the funeral home.
