Shirley White

Shirley A. White, age 65, of Forest City, died Monday, October 20, 2014 at the Hospice House of Rutherford County.
Born January 11, 1949 in Spartanburg County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Albert Chadwick and Lottie Mae Kirby who resides in Spartanburg. Shirley was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, fishing, and spending time with her family and especially going to the fish camp. She was a member of Crestview Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother survivors include her husband, Grover White; three daughters, Teresa A. Sisk of Forest City, Sheila K. Williamson of Chesnee, SC and Christine M. Bright of Spindale; two sisters, Jean Fowler and Brenda Foster; step-son, Ronnie Simmons of Spartanburg. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at the Hospice House Chapel with Chaplain Cy Miller officiating.
