Sandra Ray Robins, age 83, of Forest City, passed away Monday, April 20, 2026 at her home.

Sandra was born Saturday, August 8, 1942 in Rutherford County to the late Robert Jeff Ray and Naggie Louise Johnson Jolley. She was a graduate of Tri-High School, class of 1960 and attended Western Piedmont Community College. Sandra worked as a Phlebotomist for Broughton Hospital for many years and as a CNA/Med Tech for the Carolina House which later became Brookdale Nursing Home. She was of the Baptist faith. Sandra enjoyed hiking, camping and riding motorcycles. She was also an animal lover who enjoyed taking care of her dogs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Bobby Albert Jolley and her husband, Morton Robins.

Those left to honor her legacy include her son, Robert Jeff Waters (Kandy) of Rutherfordton; daughters, Lynn Davies (JoAnn) of Bradenton Beach, Florida and Kristin Moore (Thomas) of Forest City; grandchildren, Dylan Rollins, Connor Rollins, Kyler Waters; great grandchildren, Theo, August, Salem, Holden, Aubrey, Emmaline, Mercy and her fur baby, Buddy.

A celebration of Sandra’s life will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Friday, April 24th at Harrelson Funeral Home.
