Samuel Whitesides, age 78, of Spindale, NC, died February 22, 2016 at his residence.
Born May 7, 1937 in Rutherford County, he was a son to the late Christian Whitesides and Nettie Jackson Whitesides. He served as a minister of the gospel for many years.
No formal services are planned. Inurnment will take place in the family cemetery at a later date.
