Salvatore G. Fertitta

Salvatore G. Fertitta, age 70, of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

Salvatore was born Tuesday, June 8, 1954 in Castelbuono, Sicily to the late Vincenzo Fertitta and Giovanna Castiglia Fertitta. He worked as a software technician for various telecommunication companies. Salvatore’s creative spirit was displayed in cooking, listening to music and playing the bass. He also enjoyed being on the ocean and fishing. Salvatore’s passion was taking care of his family and being a devoted grandfather. He was a dedicated member of the Roman Catholic Church.

Those left to treasure his memory include his loving wife of forty-four years, Maria Fertitta; daughter, Daniela Miller (Eric) of Myrtle Beach; son, Vincenzo Fertitta (Eva) of Waxhaw; grandchildren, Chase Miller, Hope Miller, Luca Fertitta and Scarlett Fertitta.

A celebration of Salvatore’s life will be held in Myrtle Beach on a date to be announced.
