Sallie Henson, age 78, of Wilson, NC, died Friday, November 12, 2010 at the Long Leaf Neuro Medical Treatment Center.
Sallie was born on May 15, 1932 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Willie Gordon Henson and Nelleree Porter Henson. She was a member of Caroleen Baptist Church and lived a simple life. Among her life's enjoyments was Coca-Cola and chocolate.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three siblings, Mildred Yelton, Billy Joe Henson and Katie Monfredo.
Survivors include her sister in-law, Mary Lib Henson of Forest City; one brother in-law, Tony Monfredo of Raleigh, NC and several nieces and nephews.
