Ruby “Geraldine” King, age 69, of Henrietta, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2026 at her home while being surrounded by her loving family.

Geraldine was born Friday, December 28, 1956 in Rutherford County to the late J.D. Beheler and Cleo Freeman. She worked in the home healthcare industry for many years and as a CNA at Restwell Nursing Home. She also worked for several years at Alpha Mfg. Geraldine enjoyed gardening, skating, going to auctions and riding motorcycles. She also enjoyed dancing and going on trips to the beach and mountains.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Betty Jean Mosley, Junior McFarland, Henry Boone, Virgina Lowe and Carolyn Hunt.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Shelly Ford (Jeremy Greene) of Bostic; son, James “Kenny” Sprouse of Mauldin, SC; “adopted” daughter, Tori Garcia of Chesnee; grandchildren, Chris Ford (Suzanne), Tiffany Pittman (Josh), Alissa BreAnna Ford (Ethan Rhodes), Jayden Sprouse; great grandchildren, Daxton Ford and Asher Ford; son-in-law, Ray Ford of Ellenboro; daughter-in-law, Donna Sprouse and a special friend, Travis Stewart of Mooresboro.

A family led memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 pm on Saturday, October 10th at the First Baptist Church of Bostic with Reverend Clay Earle officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church.
