Rosemary Tagis Leavitt

Rosemary Leavitt, age 87, of Forest City, passed away Monday, March 2, 2026 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Rosemary was born Thursday, September 15, 1938 in Concord, New Hampshire to the late Harry Tagis and Florence Nichols Tagis. She worked in the communications industry for over forty years. During that time she was a telephone operator and later became a manager/trainer for Verizon. Rosemary was also an interior decorator and enjoyed installing wallpaper. She was Greek Orthodox.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, David Tagis.

Rosemary is survived by several cousins and many friends.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 10th at the Blossom Hill Cemetery in Concord with Mr. Oliver Northcott officiating.
