Ronnie Silver

Ronnie Silver, age 68, of Forest City, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Fair Haven Home in Forest City.

Ronnie was born Monday, June 4, 1956 in Gaston County, NC to the late Ray Silver and Dorothy Elizabeth Yow Silver. He worked for J.H. Montgomery Mill in Chesnee for twenty-four years. Ronnie was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church and enjoyed working in his yard and cleaning his car.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Francis White Silver; a brother, Danny Silver and stepbrother, Eugene White.

Survivors include his loving wife of forty-nine years, Joyce Gowan Silver; daughter, Mary Chappell (Steve) of Forest City; stepbrother, Larry White of Ellenboro and five beloved grandchildren, Grant, Makenzie, Destany, Jaden and Abel.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, February 4th at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Steven Chappell and Reverend Greg Qualls officiating.
