Reba Stone

Reba 'Mame' R. Stone, age 99, of 518 Doggett Road, Forest City, NC, died Thursday, October 09, 2008 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice.
A native of Roane County, Tennessee she was a daughter of the late Bill and Belle Harshbarger Rutherford. Reba worked many years as a sales clerk for the May Company in Cleveland, Ohio and later worked in a School Cafeteria and as a Convenience Store Clerk. She was of the Baptist faith and had the distinction of being the daughter of a Civil War Veteran.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Stone; a son, Donald Stone; four sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include two daughters, Sara Suhy and her husband Clement of Forest City and Trudy Ball and her husband Steve of Jacksonville, FL; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
