Rachel Toney

Rachel Mary Toney, age 77, of Forest City, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
Born July 16, 1941 in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of Lionel Cantrell and Carrie Condrey Cantrell. She was a lifelong member of Chase Baptist Church and greatly enjoyed spending time at the beach.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her son, Danny Robert Biggerstaff.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Cheryl Ann Baynard; sons, William James Biggerstaff and Christopher O'Brian Toney; stepson, Darrell Toney; stepdaughter, Lisa Skipper; sister, Becky Elliott; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild on the way.
The funeral service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Scott Butler officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
