Pauline Robbins

Pauline D. Robbins, age 87, of Forest City, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Oak Grove Health Center.

Pauline was born April 12, 1933 in Rutherford County to the late Luther Duncan and Lena Hawkins Duncan. She worked for Cone Mills-Cliffside Plant until retirement and was an avid reader.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Bernard Mode and a second husband, Dennis Trotter; daughter, Rita Hudgins; granddaughter, Brianna Hudgins; grandson, Josh Mode; three sisters, Odessa Dixon, Ulamae Hollifield, Bonnie Owens and brothers, Jack and Earl Duncan.

Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Terry Mode (Joanne) of Lake Lure and Greg Mode (Beverly) of Forest City; nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Ricky Poteat officiating.
