Patti Ann Michaels

Patti Ann Michaels, age 68, of Forest City, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Wendover Hospice in Shelby.

Patti was a loving sister, mother, and grandmother. An amazing, hardworking, thoughtful woman she was incredibly proud of her work as a nurse, and nothing could compare to her love of everyone she knew. Family was everything to her and she enjoyed every moment of being with them, we were all incredibly lucky to be a part of her life and have her be a part of ours. She will be forever and sorely missed. May she forever walk with the lord as she wished.

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelation 21:4

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by an infant sibling.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving daughters, Maria Gates of Canton, NC and Nichol Michaels of Forest City; son, Jack Tilley, Jr. of North Carolina; siblings, Richard Michaels, Pam Michaels, Barbie Michaels, Kenny Michaels, Thomas Michaels, Jr., Karen Michaels; grandchildren, Brook Michaels, Jada Leatherman and Jailen Gates.

A private celebration of life will be held for the family.
