Patricia Jones

Patricia Jones, age 63, of Forest City, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

Patricia was born Thursday, December 13, 1962 in Rutherford County to the late Junior Arrowood and Sybil Burgess Arrowood. She worked in textiles for many years, working mostly for Cone Mills and National Textiles. Patricia was of the Presbyterian faith. She enjoyed solving crossword puzzles. Patricia was known for her big heart! She never met a stranger, and her door was always open to all who were in need. She was a true servant of God. Her life’s passion was spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Brittany Fish.

Those left to honor her memory include her children, Pamela Bradley (Joey) of Forest City, Jon Wright (Lacey) of Rutherfordton, Heather Horne (Jason) of Rutherfordton, Angel Keeter (Robbie) of Golden Valley, Dusty Herr of Forest City; her devoted lifelong friend, Doug Wright of Rutherfordton; brothers, Jerry Arrowood of Caroleen, John Arrowood (Tracey) of the Chase Community and Phillp Arrowood (Tracey) of Forest City; seventeen grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews which includes a special nephew and caregiver, Josh Arrowood.

A gathering of friends and family will be held from 3:00 until 5:00 pm at Harrelson Funeral Home on Saturday, May 23rd. At other times the family will be gathered at her daughter’s home, 512 S. Church Street, Forest City.
