Murphy Hensley

Murphy Hensley, age 75, of Caroleen, died Sunday, July 26, 2009 at the Hinkle Hospice House in Davidson County.
A native of Yancey County, he was a son of the late B.G. Hensley and Media Pollyana Hensley. He enjoyed woodworking, fixing old cars and was employed as a furniture finisher.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Jeff Hensley and Dale Hensley both of High Point, NC; one brother, Earl Hensley and his wife, Betty of Caroleen; two sisters, Ada Joyce and her husband, Harvey, and Delitha Goldin all of Bassett, VA. He is also survived by three grandchildren, a number of great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
