Mrs. Mildred "Lucy" Lovelace Jackson, age, 93, of Shelby, formerly of Mooresboro, NC passed away Thursday, January 4, 2007 at the Century Care of Shelby. Mrs. Jackson was born February 19, 1913 in Cleveland County. She was preceded in death by her father, James Gardus Lovelace, her mother Mary C. Jones Lovelace, and her stepfather William Samuel Lovelace. She was the widow of Broadus Howard "Doc" Jackson. Mrs. Jackson was a retired sales clerk, a homemaker, and an avid quilt maker.
