Mickey Digh

Mickey Digh, age 69, of Forest City, passed away Friday, August 28, 2026 at his home.

Mickey was born Tuesday, August 20, 1957 in Morganton, NC to the late Melvin Lonnie Digh, Sr. and Frances Ramsey Digh Hardin. He was a graduate of Freedom High School in Morganton, class of 1976. Mickey worked in the auto sales industry for many years. He was in financing and his last position was as a car salesman for Friendship Chevrolet. Mickey worked long hours and enjoyed his job. His favorite pastime was watching the Andy Griffith Show and especially loved spending time with his family. Mickey was a member of the Missionary Wesleyan Church in Forest City.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Boyce Hardin.

Those left to honor his legacy include his loving wife of forty-eight years, Tammy Digh; daughter, Natalie Digh (Charles Allen) of Spindale; sons, Melvin Digh (Amber) of Rutherfordton and Cody Digh of Forest City; a sister, Patti Digh (John Ptak) of Hendersonville, NC; grandchildren, Zoe Digh, Savannah Digh, Finn Digh, Delilah Digh, Bryndle Digh, Avery Digh and Ames Digh.

A private celebration of life for family and friends will be conducted.
