Michael Lucas

Michael Wayne Lucas, age 60, of Bostic, died Saturday, January 7, 2017 at his residence.
Born August 16, 1956 in Wilson County, NC, he was a son to the late Brochie Leland Lucas and Lethia Marie Forbes Lucas. Michael was a cabinet maker and worked for Wilson Woodworks for many years. He was a member of Fork Creek Baptist Church and besides his passion for woodworking, he also enjoyed the outdoors.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Bobby Lucas and a sister, Deborah Marie Lucas Pittman.
Survivors include his wife, Nell Hoyle Lucas of Bostic; one brother, Richard Lucas and wife, Susan of Wilson, NC.
The memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Billy Cogdell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
