Michael A. Sanders

Michael A. Sanders, age 66, of Taylorsville, NC, formerly of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at the Hospice House in Taylorsville.

Michael was born February 21, 1959 in Smithfield, NC to Minnie Ingram Edgerton who resides in Franklin County and to the late Leroy Sanders. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed going on long walks. Michael also enjoyed playing and watching basketball.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Daisy Pearl Ingram and Robert Ingram and by many aunts and uncles.

Besides his mother, those left to honor his memory include his twin daughters, Lilnell and Luvneil; brothers, Bernard McCoy (Jackie) and Larry Sanders (Carolyn); several grandchildren; uncles, Paul Ingram (Shirley) and Charles Ingram (Alberta); aunt, Linda Williams; ten nieces and ten nephews along with many extended family members.

No formal services will be conducted.
