Margaret Norman

Margaret Callahan Norman, age 84, of Raleigh Ledbetter Road, Ellenboro, NC, died Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Hospice House.
Margaret was born on December 21, 1926 in Rutherford County, NC to the late John Wesley Callahan and Sarah Elizabeth Reavis Callahan. She was a long time and faithful member of Henrietta First Baptist Church and worked for Burlington Mills most of her life. She enjoyed flower gardening and decorating her home.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Raymond Norman; one brother, Jack Callahan and one sister, Betty Jones.
Survivors include her son, Van Norman and wife, Jan of Ellenboro; one grandson, Matthew Norman of Ellenboro; two sisters, Louise Greene of Shelby, NC and Nell Greene of Henrietta; two brother in-laws, Ralph Norman and wife, Linda of Henrietta, James 'Pebo' Norman of Lincolnton, NC and numerous nieces and nephews.
