Margaret Allen

Margaret Wilson Allen, age 85, of 149 Fairhaven Drive, Bostic, NC passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at the Fair Haven Home. She was born March 19, 1923
in Rutherford County to the late Archie Dewey Wilson and Willie Harrill Wilson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Albert Allen, a brother Daryl Wilson and a sister Mildred Davis. Margaret was a long-time, faithful member of Caroleen Baptist Church where she was very involved with the Girls Auxiliary. She was a volunteer with Hospice and the American Cancer Society and she enjoyed reading. She was retired from Burlington Industries after 39 years of service.

She is survived by one daughter, Barbara A. Anderson and husband Jim of Forest City, NC; two grandchildren, Jessica Anderson of Greensboro, NC and James Anderson, III of Iraq; one sister, Lois Flynn and husband Brell of Forest City, NC; and several nieces.
