Lukas Goodwin

Lukas Thompson Goodwin, infant son of Brandon and Cortney Goodwin, was ushered into the presence of the Lord on Thursday, February 18, 2016 by a host of angels.
The nearly eight months before his birth, his constant movement was a reminder to his mother that he was an active and energetic boy. He was loved by his family and they all anticipate a day of reunion in Heaven.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Herman Laughter, Nancy Duskey and Betty Henderson; great-great-grandmothers, Hathleen Couch and Ruby Goodwin.
In addition to his loving parents, he is survived by paternal grandparents, Douglas and Susan Goodwin of Forest City; paternal great-grandparents, Ray and Marlene Curtis of Forest City, Ron Duskey of Rotunda, Florida, Ellie Pilipuf of Fox Lake, Illinois and Jim Goodwin of Forest City; maternal great-grandmother, Mary Laughter of Ellenboro and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
