Lisa Surratt

Lisa Grayson Surratt, age 35, of Caroleen, NC, died Friday, June 14, 2013 at her residence.
Lisa was born July 6, 1977 to Jimmie Ray Grayson and Deborah Padgett Murray. She worked in textiles for several years and was a Baptist. She was an avid reader.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Reid and Genny Grayson.
Besides her parents, survivors include her husband, Chuck Surratt; one son, Jordan Grayson; step-daughter, Shania Surratt; sister, Amy Murray and fiancé, Chris Brown of Del Ray Beach, Florida; one brother, Chris Grayson and wife, Nicole of Gastonia; step-father, John Murray of Caroleen and grandparents, Howard and Joyce Padgett of Caroleen. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Peggy Surratt of Forest City; three sisters-in-law, Pamela Shoemaker of Spindale, Angela Surratt and Brandi Surratt both of Forest City; brother-in-law, Chad Surratt of Gastonia and a number of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Eternal Hills Cemetery with Reverend Travis McEntyre officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside at the cemetery.
