Lewis Waters

Lewis D. Waters, age 78, of 469 S. Broadway, Forest City, NC, died Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Rutherford Hospital.
A native of Rutherford County, he was a son of the late Daniel and Lucy Greene Waters. He worked for Drexel Manufacturing for over 16 years and most recently worked as a custodian for Rutherford Hospital. He was a member of Sandy Level Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Lola Waters; three brothers, Roscoe Waters, Earl Waters and Willie Waters and three sisters, Pantha Bowen, Lucille Waters and Dessie Long.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Lynch; two daughters, Brenda Saine and her husband Clyde of Forest City and Cathy Leverette and her husband Wade of Caroleen. He is also survived by six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
