Leo Waters

Leo H. Waters, age 95, of Golden Valley, died Friday, February 27, 2009 at Willow Ridge Nursing Center. A native of Rutherford County, she was a daughter of the late Tommy Henson and Ola McSwain Henson. She was a longtime member of Hicks Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed listening to Southern Gospel Music. She was a homemaker who loved cooking for others and gardening.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of more than 45 years, Loyd A. Waters; four brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include two sons, L.B. Waters and his wife, Elizabeth, of Ellenboro, NC, and Glenn Waters of Golden Valley; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a host of nephews and nieces.
