Larry Splawn

Larry Steven Splawn, age 58, of Forest City, died Thursday, December 4, 2008 at Hospice House.
A native of Rutherford County, he worked as a carpenter and construction worker most of his life. He was of the Baptist Faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Odell Splawn.
Survivors include three sons, James Splawn and his wife Joeli of Cliffside, John Splawn and his wife Allison of Cliffside and Joe Splawn of Forest City; his mother, Irene Splawn of Forest City; three sisters, Nancy Splawn, Lisa Splawn and Lauren Yelton and her husband Mike all of Forest City; four grandchildren, Zach Splawn, Liz Splawn, Adam Splawn and McKiah Splawn; a nephew, Will Yelton, and a niece, Anna Yelton.
