Judy Diane Ruding

Judy Diane Ruding, age 71, of Forest City, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Willow Ridge Rehabilitation and Living Center.

Judy was born Sunday, February 7, 1954, in Dallas, Texas to the late Nina Swindell Whitaker. She was a cashier at Food Lion for many years and was of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a son, Rocky Northen; and a stepdaughter, Tara Ruding.

Survivors include her husband of twenty-seven years, Walter Ruding Jr.; son, Michael Davis (Aneta), of Tustin, California; stepson, Jason Ruding (Sara), of Altamont, Illinois; brothers, David Whitaker, Jesse Whitaker, and Billy Whitaker; sister, Ann Gilley; and four grandchildren, Cooper Davis, Ryan Davis, Gunner Northen, and Finley Northen.

At the request of the family no formal services will be held at this time.
