Judy Cogdell

Judy Faye Cogdell, age 65, of Forest City, died Saturday, January 10, 2015 at her residence.
Born December 29, 1949 in Cherokee County, SC, she was a daughter to the late Oscar Lee Cogdell and Nancy Hoyle Cogdell. Judy worked in various industries for many years, which included home health care. She was a member of Chimney Rock Baptist Church and enjoyed playing Bingo.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by nine brothers.
Survivors include two sons, Jerry Cogdell of Forest City and Doug Cogdell and wife, Heather of Lexington, SC; four brothers, Clete Cogdell and wife, Tracy of Rutherfordton, Jr. Cogdell of Shelby, Wade Owens of Lincolnton and William Lee Cogdell of Kings Mountain. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Dylan, Emily, Karly and Jordyn Cogdell; three great-grandchildren, Ethan, Carmen and Kaydence Tessineer.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
