Judson Steffans

Judson A. Steffans, age 45, of Rutherfordton, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC following a brief illness. Judson was born January 10, 1962 in Coral Gables, Florida to the late Judson Hahn Steffans and Patricia Cyrene Judson Steffans. He grew up in the Miami, Florida area. He married Janine Ray in Pembroke Pines, Florida on July 24, 1990. They moved to Rutherford County in May of 1999. He was employed as a service technician for Muzak. His hobbies included playing the guitar, working on cars, and fishing. He was known by his family as a joke teller. He was a member of the Rock Springs Baptist Church.

Judson is survived by his wife, Janine Steffans of the home; a son Michael Anthony Steffans of the home, and a daughter, Audrey Cyrene Steffans of the home. He is also survived by two sisters, Deborah Brochey of Lawrenceville, GA, and Theresa Wilson of Palm Coast, Florida.
