Jordan Elaine Wishon, age 30, of Cliffside, passed away Monday, June 22, 2026.

She was born on Tuesday, November 7, 1995 to Sheila Tesenair Waters who resides in Cliffside and to the late Travis Wishon. She was a graduate of Mayland Community College in Spruce Pine, NC and worked as a server at the Chalet Restaurant in Little Switzerland, NC. Jordan was the type of person whose lively spirit could put a smile on anyone’s face. She loved others unconditionally with her whole being. Jordan enjoyed cooking and was an avid swimmer. When she was younger, she attended Shingle Hollow Congregational Holiness Church.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by grandparents, David and Martha Mathis and J.W. and Mary Ann Tesenair.

Besides her mother, those left to cherish her memory include her beloved daughter, Skyler Wishon of the home; her fiancé, Luke Smith of Cleveland County; brother, Travis Tesenair of Cliffside; stepsiblings, Casandra Toney (Bryan), Kayla Wishon, Travis Wishon, Elaina Wishon all of Rutherfordton and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A family led celebration of Jordan’s life will be held at a later date.
