Jolaine Greene

Jolaine W. Greene, age 82, of Rutherfordton, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the Holly Springs Senior Citizens Home.
Born March 20, 1935 in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Ed Allen and Carrie Lee Morgan Allen. Jolaine was a graduate of Harris High School. She was a homemaker and a lifetime member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. She loved her family and also her church family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-one years, Johnny Greene; one son, John Thomas Greene and two brothers, Royal Allen and Carl Allen; three sisters, Maude Harmon, Loree Sisk and Jean Allen.
Those left to cherish her memory include a daughter, Cathy Faye Cash and husband, Ronsal of Rutherfordton; grandson, Ronnie Lee Cash, Jr. of Rutherfordton; one brother, J.C. Allen of Forest City and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Holly Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Scott Moneyham officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time at the church.
