Jettie “Rose” Conner, age 89, of Bostic, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City.

Rose was born Wednesday, September 16, 1936 in Polk County, to the late Thomas Elmer Goode and Johnnie Hays Goode. She worked as a caretaker for many years and had a heart to help others. As an active member of Second Baptist Church, she lived out her Christian faith by being involved in several church ministries. Rose enjoyed collecting antiques and loved taking care of her pet dog, “Precious.”

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of twenty-five years, Robert Conner; daughter, Kathy Goode; son, Ronnie Goode and by six sisters.

Those left to honor her legacy include her son, Alan Goode of Bostic; sisters, Sarah McCall (Harvey) of Simpsonville, SC, Judy Patrick of Mauldin, SC and Pat Tessenear of Greenville, SC; granddaughters, Kathy McIntyre (Dan) of Ellenboro, Nikki Morrow (Jason) of Forest City, Brandy Dedmon of Shelby, Shanna Goode of Mooresboro and eight great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, July 7th at Second Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Keith Stephenson officiating. A private interment will follow at Green River Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 am until service time on the day of the service.
