James William Hobbs

James William Hobbs, age 64, of Forest City, passed away Monday, May 3, 2021 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
William was born Friday, June 29, 1956 in Rutherford County to Annie Webb Hobbs who resides in Forest City and the late Jonah William Hobbs. He served his country in the US Army and worked in textiles for several years. William was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two uncles, Vance Webb and Paul Turner and two aunts, Frances Hobbs and Jean Moore.
Besides his mother, those left to cherish his memory include a brother, Vance Hobbs of Brooks, Georgia; aunt, Nancy Turner of Cornelius, NC; uncle, James Hobbs of Forest City and several cousins.
No formal services will be conducted at this time.
