James Radford

James "Jim" Radford, age 73, of Forest City, died Saturday, July 05, 2008 at the Hospice Residence of Rutherford County.
A native of Rutherford County he was a son of the late Lonzo Radford and Kate Wilkie Radford. He was a long-time member of Crestview Baptist Church and retired as a Supervisor from GF Business Equipment after over 25 years of service.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Betty Warren Radford; three brothers, Earnest Radford, George Radford and Connie Radford.
He is survived by one son, Ricky "Spanky" Radford and his wife Cathy of Forest City; two granddaughters, Miranda Yelton and her husband Derek and Meagan Radford all of Forest City; one great-granddaughter, Blakeley Yelton of Forest City. He is also survived by three brothers, Hubert Radford of Cliffside, Alton Radford and Steve Radford both of Forest City; one sister, Margaret Jolley of Chesnee, SC.
