Ina Faye Bailey

Ina Faye Bailey, age 82, of Ellenboro, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at Oakland Living Center.

Faye was born Saturday, March 13, 1943 in Rutherford County to the late Emma Lee Beheler. She worked for the Rutherford County Public Schools as a bus driver and in the lunchroom. Faye also worked as a teller for First Citizens Bank and as an office clerk for Charles Watkins Auto Sales. She was a longtime and faithful member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher and on the bereavement committee. Faye enjoyed working with the children at the church. She also enjoyed tending to her flower garden.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-nine years, Fred Bailey; sisters, Barbara Toney and Coleen Melton; brothers, Johnny Sisk, Charle Sisk and Leroy Sisk.

Those left to honor her memory include her sons, Michael Bailey of Bostic and Tim Bailey of Mooresboro and her sister, Patsy Wright.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 30th at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
