Henry Lee Hoyle, age 76, of 765 Chase High Road, Forest City, NC passed away Saturday, March 1, 2008 at the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. He was born May 30, 1931 in Burke County to the late Grady Hoyle and Rose Watts Hoyle. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Hoyle, one sister, Florence Staub and one brother, Basil Hoyle. He was a long-time member of Temple Baptist Church where he served as an active deacon and on the building and grounds committee. Henry was a U S Army veteran. He worked as a manufacturing supervisor at Tanner's and was the owner of H & L Contract Cutting. He was an avid sports fan and an Atlanta Braves fan. He was a league bowler and coached the Tanner's girl softball team.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Trina Goode Hoyle of the home; one daughter, Leeann Jones and her husband Doug of Forest City; Dwayne Hoyle of Forest City; one brother, Earl Hoyle and his wife Cathy of Grover, NC; two grandchildren, Kelly Jones and Allison Jones, two great grandchildren, Braxton Jones and Canaan Piercy several nieces and nephews and his special working buddy, Robert Smith.
