Gary Epley

Gary R. Epley, age 74, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Hospice House.
Gary was born on March 1, 1936 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Harvey Benjamin Epley and Robbie Lee Woods Epley. He was a truck driver most his life and had worked 28 years for Carolina Freight Company before his retirement. He was a member of Adaville Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Margaret B. Epley; three children, Debbie Melton of Forest City, Michael Epley and wife, Hae, of Savannah, GA and Sherry Bailey and husband, Scott, of Rutherfordton; one brother, Harvey C. Epley and wife, Mary, of Universal City, TX. He was also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
