Frieda Moore

Frieda Moore, age 87, of Forest City, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2026 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.

Frieda was born Tuesday, October 10, 1939 in Rutherford County to the late Jesse Moore and Gertrue Price Moore. She was a graduate of Tri-High School, class of 1958 and worked as a secretary/receptionist for Stonecutter Mill and General Fireproofing for many years. She was a faithful and longtime member of Spencer Baptist Church. Frieda enjoyed decorating, interior designing and art. Above all else, her life’s passion was loving her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Haley Hardin.

Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved children, Tamara Robbins (John) of Spindale and Jesse Craig Buckner (Teresa) of Mooresboro; special friend, Garland Hamrick of Forest City; grandchildren, Jessica Deyton (Shaun) and Thomas Buckner; great grandchildren, Seth Honeycutt, Jacob Hawkins, Aubrie Skinner and Ruby Buckner.

A private time of remembrance for the family was held at Harrelson Funeral Home.
