Frank Norman, age 82, of Henrietta, died Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Mission Hospital-St. Joseph Campus.
Born October 27, 1933 in Rutherford County, he was a son of the late Jule Norman and Josie Adkins Norman. He was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 1962 and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Frank worked for Burlington Industries for forty years before retirement and was a member of Chase Baptist Church. As a young man he delivered groceries and later coached Little League baseball for many years. He was a horse enthusiast and stabled several horses in a span of many years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-nine years, Faye Norman; son, Joey Norman and two infant sons, Kenny Norman, Scott Norman and one brother, Jack Norman; two sisters, Estelle Kendrick and Louise Moore.
Survivors include one son, Tod Norman of Forest City; sister, Kathryn Beam of Forest City; a special niece and friend, Sherry Lundy, among a number of other nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, October 7, 2016 at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Scott Butler officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home on the day of the service.
