Faye Tallent

Faye Tallent, age 62, of Spindale, passed away Monday, June 28, 2021 at Atrium Health – Pineville, NC.

Faye was born Tuesday, February 10, 1959 in Cherokee County, SC to the late Pinkney Bright and Peggy Lou Griffin Bright.  Faye loved flowers, gardening, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Walter Griffin, James Bright, Cordell Bright; and three sisters, Marie Ledford, Mary Jane Turner, and Bertha Bright.

Those left to cherish her memory include fiancé, Tony Philbeck; four sons, Brad Bright, Timothy Tallent, Justin Tallent (Tamren Duncan), Dustin Tallent (Katie Boltin); brother, Odell Bright; sisters, Minnie Dean Brown, Louise Bright; seven grandchildren, Gavin Tallent, Kaylon Tallent, Hailey Tallent, Hannah Talent, Harley Tallent, Caleb Jones and Little Brad; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 pm on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at the Harrelson Funeral chapel with Reverend Phillip Duncan officiating.  Inurnment will follow at Avondale Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
