Erselle Robinson

Erselle Robinson, age 83, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Oak Grove Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Erselle was born Wednesday September 16, 1942 in Spartanburg County, SC to the late Wilburt Blackwell and Annie Mae Johnson Blackwell. She worked as a Spinner for Stonecutter Mill for over twenty-four years before retirement. Erselle enjoyed crocheting and was an avid NASCAR fan. Her favorite driver was Kyle Busch. She was of the Baptist faith, and her greatest joy was being able to spend time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a beloved granddaughter, Jennifer Downing; five brothers and sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Sandra Ivey of Ellenboro, Ann Belk of Spindale and Alice Self (Ricky) of Forest City; her twin sister, Vernelle Clary; sister, Gerri Wyatt; grandchildren, Billy Hutchins, David Hutchins (Amanda), Johnathan Robinson, Chris Self (Shannon), Keith Self and ten great grandchildren.

In honor of her wishes, there will be no formal services.
